Rasli Marwa, a 2018 Fashion Communication graduate from NIFTGandhinagar, made her alma mater proud, as she won the first position in the photography category of the Art for Health 2018 competition organized by the Ministry of Health and Prevention, UAE. As prize money, she won a whopping 50,000 dirhams for promoting healthy living through her environment–sensitive photograph. The photograph depicting lungs had healthy parts, which were green and other decaying ones, which were brown. While the former were created with broccoli and symbolized healthy living, the latter were created using caffeine and symbolized unhealthy eating and smoking. Through the symbolism of lungs that are often synonymous with breathing and life itself, the picture successfully brought to notice how unhealthy habits adversely affect life.
