Shalini Visakan, the brain behind the adaptive clothing brand, Suvastra Designs, is a graduate from NIFT, Chennai. She designs Indian and Indo-western wear for differently abled people. Through her brand, she is revolutionizing fashion for this largely neglected section, by way of her innate sensitivity towards their limitations. Till now, the designer has been felicitated with three awards. She is planning to start an exclusive store for designer clothing, which is affordable as well as highly functional, soon.
