Shuchita Gaurav, a third year student of Fashion and Lifestyle Accessory Design at NIFT has designed a trolley bag with blue tooth connectivity, that can be moved around using the mobile phone, as part of her classroom project. This innovation required Shuchita to acquire knowledge of engineering concepts. The product, though at its basic prototype level, has immense potential to be developed for senior citizens and the physically challenged, commercially. The experiment is one among the many interesting ones being undertaken by companies on the design front.
